Photoreaction is a reaction which starts with light energy. It has a unique characteristic to give some product materials which are not the same as that of thermal reaction.
High-pressure mercury-vapor lump is used as a light source and the temperature is controlled by water-cooling.
We possess several facilities with 8kW light source in Harima plant and each facility is able to perform the reaction of tens liters.
In addition, lab-scale synthesis can be performed with 100W and 400W of high-pressure mercury-vapor lumps at the chemical laboratory.
Further, we have performed flow reaction with FEP tube as well as general batch reaction.
